I am going to be holding a contest to see who can come up with the best Mad Libs to be used over on the Harry Potter Mad Libs page.
The rules are as follows:
Reply to this post with the title of the Mad-Lib story as the first line, and then paste the rest of the story below that. You can use the following tags to indicate a blank space that should be replaced with user input:
{VERB} = A verb
{VERB-ED} = A verb ending in 'ed'
{VERB-ING} = A verb ending in 'ing'
{VERB-S} = A verb ending in 's'
{NOUN} = A noun
{NOUN-PLURAL} = A plural noun
{ADJECTIVE} = An adjective
{ADVERB} = An adverb
{EMOTION} = An emotion
{NUMBER} = A number
{PLACE} = The name of a place
{ROOM} = The name of a room
{FOOD} = The name of some food
{MALE} = A man's name
{FEMALE} = A woman's name
{OPPOSITESEX} = Name of a member of the opposite sex
{SAMESEX} = Name of a member of the same sex
{ANIMAL} = An animal
{ANIMAL-PLURAL} = An animal (plural)
{BODYPART} = A body part
{BODYPART-PLURAL} = A body part (plural)
{CELEBRITY} = The name of a celebrity
{MADEUP} = Just make up a word
If you need special tags, just make them up and I might add them, make sure to add a star before and after ones you make up (e.g. *{CURSE}*). Also, if you want to use a tag more than once just add the number of uses after it. Ex.: {MALE} fights {MALE.2} who asks for {MALE.3} to help him attack {MALE}.
I would provide some examples but all the Mad-Libs I came up with so far are inappropriate...

{OPPOSITESEX} and I went to the inn at Hogsmeade today, where s/he {VERB-ED} me until I {VERB-ED} of {EMOTION}. When we got back to Hogwarts, Professor {SAMESEX} spotted us together and looked at us *{ADVERB-LY}*. We just {VERB-ED} and {VERB-ED} without looking back. *{HPCHARACTER YOU DONT LIKE}* caught us in the dorms, {VERB-ING} and threatened to {VERB} us, but then {OPPOSITESEX.2} {VERB-ED} *{HPCHARACTER YOU DONT LIKE.2}* so he couldn't anyway. Then we went back to {VERB-ING.2}.
I dunno, I just felt like it....

Okay...this Mad Lib isn't necessarilly HP-related, but I figure it's worth a shot.
My Christmas
Out of all of the Christmases I've had, this was by far the most {ADJECTIVE}! I woke up early in the morning and ran down the stairs with my sister, {NAME}, and my brother, {ANOTHERNAME}. We {ADVERB} ran to our stockings to see what {CELEBRITY} had brought us in the night. And boy, were our presents {ADJECTIVE}! I got {PLURAL NOUN}, a(n) {NOUN}, and {NUMBER} {COLOR} {PLURAL NOUN}. My sister got a(n) pet {ANIMAL}, which she's always wanted(Not quite sure how it fit in the stocking). My brother's been {ADJECTIVE} this year, so all he got was a lump of {NOUN}. And wait 'til you hear what was under the {NOUN}! I got a {NOUN} which says, "{EXCLAMATION}" when you pull its string. My sister got a Teddy {ANIMAL}. And my brother got a broken iPod.
Later, we went to Grandpa {NAME}'s house for dinner, where we ate {PLURAL NOUN} and drank (LIQUID}. Then, we all sang classic Christmas songs like "{ADJECTIVE} Night" and "{VERB} the Halls." Finally, we played Mad Libs, which is not all that it's cracked up to be.

A trip to the beach
Yesterday, Mark Seal and I went to the beach. We had a really fun time! First, we walked with my pool. Then we ran down to the ocean and went swimming. Afterward, we barbecued some potato for lunch. Before the sun set we had time to jumped on the wall. We were really cute to come home. We are hoping to go to the beach again soon!
