possible couples in HBP and book 7

I think that the only couple is Ron and Hermione. I have a hunch that Harry's gonna die at the end of the 7th book, so...He's gonna die a losers death...Er...I meant a loners death. Isn't the weather lovely?

I seriously doubt that Rowling will do this considering that the majority of her readers are young children, but I know some of my favorite authors have done this. Wouldn't it be evil if Rowling ended the book with Harry waking up in a hospital bed finding out he just recovered from a concussion that Dudley gave him while at the zoo? No magical school, no friends, just wakes up finding it all to be a dream? Maybe then he’d kill himself, we wouldn’t need a Voldemort. :evil:

Its not happening. She's NOT stupid enough to do it, people would hate her, because that is the CRAPPIEST way to say "I couldn't think of a good ending" and the easiest way to lose half of her fans. Anyway, I sorta doubt Harry is dying, its gonna be Voldy, btu I DONT think the whole "Childrens book" thing is gonna stop JKR from doing anything she wants (barring sex, of course). Personally, I expect this book to be a LOT darker than the others seeinbg as Voldy is publickly back. But thats off topic. Well, I'm pretty sure Harry has been confirmed to have a new glrfriend, though I'm really not sure. I sure as hell hope not ginny or hermione. I can see Ron/Hermione, but...I dunno, I have this feeeling its not happening. And Neville/Ginny? Nah, the Yule Ball thing was just so she could get in. Sly little girl there, eh?

Hmm, Hermione and Ron, yea I think it could happen. But don't you think that its to easy to guess? I think it would be way cooler if it were to be Ron/Luna? They both have orange/red hair and they would deffinantly keep the family gene going. Or maybe Harry/Luna, haha, maybe she grows up over the summer and Harry falls for her. I guess I will go with the hints though and say that Ron and Hermione will be a couple by the end of book 7.

I commend you all on the idea that Hermione and Ron MIGHT be a couple cause not everyone has caught on to this. However after careful examination of book 5 I think you will find that they MIGHT already be a couple. Just thought I would point that out.

What, the kiss before the quidditch match? I don't think so, it sorta shocked Ron, so if they were a couple already, that would be a normal response. Anyway, I can perhaps see Ron hiding it from Harry, but if they were a couple, I think Hermione would tell Harry, after all he was truthful about Cho. I think th ekiss was more of a friendly thing, or maybe even Hermione likes Ron, but I doubt they're ALREADY a couple.

luna and harry.....hmm well luna seemed to like ron in book 5 so,if ron and luna were to become a couple i personally wouldn't find it as that big of a shocker.. ....

As for ron and hermione already being a couple it would be very unlikely only for the reason that ron seems uncomfortable when he's around hermione.....then again they spent a lot of time together without harry...and since,we read/see things out of harry's point of view we won't really know whats going on with those two..lol

Well I think Hermione and Ron will get together. It's obvious that Ron likes Hermione and I think she likes him too (of course it's hard to tell, but still). As for the Harry/Hermione thing I've heard, I don't think that would happen just because of Ron liking Hermione. I mean think about it, Ron's pretty much always overshadowed by Harry...but he's usually ok with it. But how crappy would he feel if Harry got the girl he liked? I just don't think Harry would do that to Ron. Plus he doesn't really act like he likes her as anything more than a friend, in my opinion. But either way, it doesn't really matter cause the story is great without worrying about who will end up with who

I really don't think the whole Harry+ Ginny thing will amount to anything...as I think one or both of them will die. It would be cute if Hermone and Ron actually got married though ^.^

Well, Rowling said Ginny and Neville were just friends, and it would never be more. Harry/Ginny is a much better coupling than Ron/Hermione in my opinion, though I do like Harry/Hermione, however unrealistic it may be.

I support Ron/Hermione just because in my opinion i see Hermione and Harry as best friends compared to something more.

Harry and Ginny obviously have some of spark between them but due to circumstances..i see the reletionship not happening..at least not yet.

Ron and Hermione already argue like a married couple. You read about it all the time in the books, and see it in the movies. @_@;; Them being a couple has basically been set up from the beginning when Hermione told Ron he had a spot of dirt on his nose.

Buuuut, you must rememeber the Hermione keeps in desperate touch with Viktor as well.

Here's a thought, Ron and Hermione are a couple at the end of book six and last through the final book, but, Ron winds up dying. Harry and Ginny wind up getting back together, but, at the end Ginny cannot handle all the stress from the war and family dying. Yes, i think that some of the Weasleys will wind up dead. Harry and Hermione turn to each other for comfort. And in the future probably wind up married. Ginny will probably wind up with a highly redemptive Draco Malfoy. And Neville and Luna will probably marry. Hagrid and Madam Olympe Maxine are already pretty much a couple. I bet that Albus and Minerva were probably a couple before Severus was asked to kill Albus. Before Lily dated and married James she was in a relationship with Severus.
Obviously, Bellatrix was panting over the Dark Idiot aka Lord Voldemort. Narcissa has probably had a thing for Severus. Draco will probably date Pansy Parkinson in the seventh book. But, Pansy probably has a thing for Blaise Zabini and will wind up with him.

Thats pretty interesting Sev, at least as far as the student couples go. I am not too sure that the Harry/Ginny of book 6 was real, it could have been a love potion.(a dragon roaring? when he really didnt feel a lot toward Ginny before that?) I do believe that the 2 main characters that will die in book 7 will be Hagrid and Ron. Harry and Hermione will end up togethor by the end of book 7(the really do make a good couple IMHO)

Ginny will end up with no one or Draco. Neville will be with Luna.
