JKR has stated that both Sirius and Dumbledore are dead and will stay that way

As much as I want that to happen it wont, Harry has to learn to live and support him self and learn to think for himself. He cant do that with Sirius and Dumbledore looking over him.

I was so upset when Sirius died. I really hope there's a loop hole and he can help Harry during book 7. She cried after she killed him off.

We love you,Jo!But Sirius is dead in the book...not the movie...he fell behind a black veil then when the clip was over he got up again...he was waiting there...

I guess the reason people keep thinking that Sirius will come back is the mystery factor surrounding his death. Like how one could be killed by just falling through a veil, what the veil was.. etc.
But Jo says hes dead then he is most definately dead. Same with dumbledore. Just because there wasnt a soul who didnt like him doesn't mean hes going to come back to life.
