It's all a mystery, I've heard that the last chapter is about what happened to the surviving characters. What that has to do with the word "scar" I don't know.
It is kind of a spoiler for some people, I think - like Aega did - it should be respected that some want to read the book and have every event and word be surprising to them.
Avi Elf *~*~* If you want to know what a man fears most, watch what he uses as a weapon.
It seems curious to me that anyone who considers themselves a fan of Harry Potter would be reading some messageboard about Deathly Hallows instead of reading Deathly Hallows itself.
This is your opinion but maybe you failed to consider the fact that some Harry Potter fans cannot afford the book at the moment. So, they just suffice their addiction by reading HP-related topics. Either way, it's still not very considerate of you to post a spoiler. Unfortunately, however, I can't say that this is bizarre behaviour: Consideration is fast becoming extinct.

It's still bizarre. . .and IMO, anyone who can't afford $17, has their priorities all screwed up. . .also, every public library in the country has multiple copies of the book, as do the schools. . . .if someone actually couldn't "afford" to buy the book, there are means to get ahold of one to read. . .It's all about "choices" and priorities. . .certainly, the books should have at least taught its readers that remedial lesson. . .

I think J.K. Rowling said she might not necessarily end the last book that way anymore.

It was reported that the ending will contain the word scar but it wont be the last word. Its close to the end though.

I would classify such behavior as bizarre.
