Dumbledore is Gay

Rowling revealed that Dumbledore is/was gay for Grindelwald. Not very surprising really, many geniuses in history have been gay, bisexual, or have had ambiguous sexual preference. To name some: Leonardo da Vinci, Socrates, Henry James, Truman Capote, E. M. Forster, Oscar Wilde, Tennessee Williams, and William Shakespeare.

i too came to know about this today morning when i read my newspaper.i suddenly took my book to look after this thing and i found the news was true but when i read earlier i didnt found anything.after all this i was really sad to find my favourite character dumbledore in the series is a gay.i think everyone one feels same

its not sad that you know dumbledore is gay now. it doesnt make any difference whatsoever. he is still the same person you knew before j.k revealed that.

I meant that he would, given that he can so blatantly flaunt the no intolerance rule of this forum, my imagination would not need to be stretched far to see it progress to direct personal attacks on you or any other of our contributors.

i did read the guid lines i was aware that i was in volation of the terms and agrments of the guild lines but it was shocking when i saw this i pretty sure that i am not the only person who has these veiws ok so i understand your point but please do not call me ignorant

I never asked you to change your views. All that was asked is tolerance and respect of another's right to choose. It was Mrs. Rowling choice to make Dumbledore homosexual - if it is such a bother to you and your ideologies, I suggest you get a new hero. I have not called you ignorant, yet...

I did not intend to call you ignorant, if I unwittingly did, I sincerely apologise. Personal attacks is something I try to avoid. I still did not ask you to change your views, do not put more words that you already have in my mouth. I do think the word you are looking for is racist, however. I believe it is homophobic. Racism is "hatred or intolerance of another race or other races," whereas homophobia is "the fear or hatred of homosexuals and homosexuality." I do not mean to offend you, and sure, I shall end this discourse.

What book does Joanne Kathleen Rowling (that's her full name)reveal that Dumbledore is gay?I am just wondering because I have read every book.It says that Dumbledore and Grindlewald were close but I never knew he was actually gay.
